Mickey Mantle is one of the all time baseball greats. His greatness is overshadowed by his massive popularity in the sports card hobby. 

The most valuable of Mickey Mantle trading cards is the 1952 Topps #311 card. This card was the first of Mantle's rookie cards and is highly valued due to its scarcity and condition. PSA, has estimated that fewer than 200 of these cards are in mint condition. A graded Gem Mint 10 copy of this card  sold at auction for over $5 million, setting a record for the most expensive trading card ever sold.

Another popular and valuable Mantle trading card is the 1952 Topps #407 card. This card was released after the #311 card and is comparatively more common.
